2007's Los Angeles Music Award Winner for Best Children's Music, Kenny Woods, lights up children and adults alike with original award-winning songs, poems and stories. Kenny's soaring performances combine catchy music and creative storytelling to send out the message to kids that they are "capable and competent!"
With a B.S. in Music Education from NYU and years of experience as a music teacher in public schools including The Early Childhood Center at Hamilton Terrace in Berkeley Heights, Kenny has been featured in the Star-Ledger, Independent Press, CW11 Morning News and by PBS in 2008 on WNJN's Classroom Close-up.
He co-presented "Watch Me Soar! Music for Transitions, Stressful Situations and Social Interactions" to over 400 teachers from around the world in Chicago at the annual NAEYC conference with nationally recognized early childhood expert Cheri Sheridan.
Kids also enjoy his Snickers and American Idol contest jingles, which were broadcast to hundreds of thousands of viewers as national top ten finalist entries.

Programs typically run 50-60 minutes in length and address national content standards for music and theater education as well as language arts for grades pre-K through 6th. Imagination and creativity are passionately promoted along with good citizenship through the social-emotional skills of believing in yourself and having a positive self-image.
